Brief Profile

Dr. Palika Ravindranadh obtained his M.Sc degree in Biochemistry from Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Osmania University, Hyderabad. His research aims to understand the bioavailability of iron from elemental iron powders and protein-rich foods using Caco-2 cells and animal models. Identification of novel iron fortificants to alleviate anemia. Additionally, Dr.Palika has been working with an interdisciplinary clinician team contributing expertise in Iron-Folate supplementation and biochemical iron markers analysis
