Brief Profile

Dr. Chilumula Monica is a Medical Scientist with an MD in Paediatrics from Gandhi Medical College,Hyderabad. She is a physician scientist working in the areas of maternal and child nutrition, early childhood development, growth monitoring, and non-communicable disease (NCD) prevention. She is involved in multidisciplinary research and clinical field implementation in both urban and rural contexts. Her work bridges medical science, nutrition research, and public health systems. She has been contributing to national and international studies addressing childhood stunting, dietary inadequacies, early growth trajectories, and school health surveillance. Dr. Monica is also involved in academic teaching as faculty for the M.Sc. in Applied Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, and Post Graduate Certificate Course in Nutrition at ICMR-NIN.
